Where we work

Towns across the Dominican Republic

We're based in Sosúa and cover the whole country — 36 towns from the northern coast through Santo Domingo and Punta Cana to the Cibao and the south. Pick your town for local detail, or read on if you're not sure where you sit.

Not sure which page you need?

  • You're in Sosúa, Cabarete or Puerto Plata — the Sosúa page is where most people should start, and it's our home base.
  • You cover several towns — there's a combined page for Sosúa, Cabarete and Puerto Plata that covers the northern cluster in one place.
  • You're in the capital or another region — Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Samaná, La Romana, Santiago and the southern provinces all have their own heading below.

Puerto Plata & the Northern Coast

Sosúa, Cabarete and Puerto Plata — the country's second tourism coast and the part with the deepest expat and second-home base. A long, well-established tourism market with a real winter-resident population, which is what makes the website work year-round rather than only in peak.

Santo Domingo & the Capital

The capital and the country's commercial centre — nearly three million people, the airport most visitors actually land at, and businesses whose customers are Dominican rather than tourist. Larger budgets, longer build cycles, and a much more competitive market.

Punta Cana & Bávaro

The largest tourism market in the Caribbean by visitor numbers, and a town that is really several towns: Bávaro beach, Los Corales, Arena Gorda and the resorts behind them. English plus Spanish, and a steady Russian, Italian and German-speaking visitor base.

Samaná & Las Terrenas

The whale coast. Samaná, Las Terrenas, El Limón and Playa Cosón trade on humpback whales from January to March, beaches the rest of the year, and a much more relaxed, smaller-market version of the Dominican tourism economy.

La Romana & Bayahibe

Casa de Campo and the sugar-mill country west of it, then Bayahibe — which has an entire national park of dive sites offshore and is consequently a diving town rather than a beach one. Macao to the east, where the surf is.

The Cibao & the South

Santiago and the Cibao's commercial capital, the garment and coffee towns inland, and the southern provinces of Azua, Barahona, San Cristóbal and the eastern sugar belt. Businesses here serve Dominican customers year-round, which is a different kind of website to a resort.

Don't see your town?

We work with businesses well beyond the towns listed above — including places in Santo Domingo, Santiago, the southern provinces and the eastern sugar belt. If your customers are searching for what you do, we can build the pages that catch them. Ask us about your area.
