Content management system (CMS)
The admin area behind your site's login, set up and kept running entirely by us. Send over the change; it's made.

Every website has an admin area somewhere, and it decides what the pages actually say. Ours exists so that altering a price takes a minute rather than a day of someone's time, and so that a news item can go up while the person responsible is driving back from the beach.

Where AI helps alongside a CMS
Turning three bullet points into a first draft of a page, or reshaping one article into raw material for three different pages so nobody faces a blank screen on a Sunday. It gets the draft out faster; somebody then checks it against your prices, your services and your actual policy before it goes anywhere near a customer. The saving is in the drafting, not in the checking.
It's our working tool, not your homework
Strip away the marketing and a CMS is simply a login page full of boxes: the text, the images, the pages. Having one means a price can be altered in under a minute rather than by opening a development day, and a news item can go up while the person responsible is driving. You will never be asked to learn it, and you will never have a login. That's exactly what allows a two-person business to keep its site in good order without hiring anyone to do it.
Picked for this site, not out of habit
The most powerful system isn't automatically the right one. Two things matter: that we can change things quickly without wrecking the design, and that your content stays readable by other software if you ever move supplier. We recommend on the evidence of the site in front of us, and we'll explain what the alternative would cost you rather than pushing whatever we're most used to.
Never waiting for you to get to a desk
What needs changing always surfaces at an inconvenient moment: a price before a job, a photograph taken an hour ago, an error spotted on the way out of the door. None of that should require you to find a laptop, and with us none of it does. Send a photo, a screenshot, a voice note. Where you happened to be standing when you noticed it is irrelevant.
Seasonal pages, published in two languages
A restaurant menu for January bears no resemblance to the one for September, and a whale-watching boat's availability changes with the season. That's what this is for: we put up the Spanish and English versions of a seasonal page in minutes, and take them down again in June, with nobody needing a password. Businesses that show this January on last January's photographs are quietly telling visitors they don't care.
Experiments that can't reach the public
A well-built admin area lets us try something, look at it live and back it out if it's wrong. Previews and sensible limits mean an experiment can't publish a half-finished page at nine on a Friday night and reach your customers before you notice. That's our job to manage, not something you have to remember.
Your content stays portable
Text and images should be exportable and readable by other systems, because an admin area only our software can open is really a subscription with no exit. Everything is stored in standard formats throughout, so another supplier could pick the whole thing up without a fight — which is only reassuring if you never have to take them up on it.

Common questions
- What exactly is a CMS?
- A set of boxes behind a login, holding the text, images and pages of your site. You'll never touch it yourself — but knowing that's what it is explains why we can alter a page in minutes and a developer would charge you for a day.
- Is WordPress the right answer?
- It depends on the site rather than on what's currently fashionable. Often it is a good fit: flexible, and no licence fee. The catch is that it needs maintaining, and for a small site a page builder can be the lower-maintenance option. We'll lay out the trade-off honestly.
- Will I need training?
- No, and you shouldn't need any. You tell us what needs changing and we do it. Nothing for you to remember, nothing to book, and no software left for you to update.
- Can you build on the CMS I've already got?
- Usually, yes. We look at what's there first and say whether it's worth building on, or whether starting again would be cleaner. Rebuilding on a poor foundation just relocates the problems rather than solving them.
- What if I'd rather do the editing myself?
- Almost nobody does once they see how it works. Access is available if you want it, but we wouldn't hand it to someone who'd struggle to find the time to use it. We handle the changes and they stay made.
