Website Editor

Small, careful changes to the site you already have — a new price, a corrected menu, a page for the season — without turning it into a project.

Sometimes all you need is somebody to make a single change. Updating a price, adding a page for the summer, fixing something that's been wrong since last August — these are small jobs, and small jobs don't need a project plan. Send the change however is easiest and we'll do it.

Where AI fits into small edits

Useful now and then, for the one page you rewrite every season — turning a rough outline into something to argue with rather than a blank page. 'Occasionally', because most of what a small business publishes is a photograph and two lines underneath it. That isn't a writing problem, and it needs two minutes rather than a clever tool.

There's a good chance you don't need a new website

Almost everyone who asks about this has a site that's roughly eighty per cent right, and is really after a price for a rebuild. Sometimes that is the right answer. More often it's a handful of changes at a fraction of that price, and we'd rather say so than sell a rebuild you don't need.

Send it however is easiest

A text, a screenshot with two arrows drawn on it, a voice note while you're standing in the shop. There's no need for the right words, and no need to have the content ready — we'll work out what you mean and tell you what we'd change.

Small jobs, quick turnaround

A new photograph, corrected details, a page about something new, a section taken down. None of these needs a project plan; they need doing. Most come back to you the same working day, and we won't turn a small change into a large invoice.

One-off work, no project overhead

If your site is in good shape and you need one change, this is straightforward work with a fixed price for anything we can define clearly — in US dollars, with ITBIS broken out on the invoice as Dominican law requires. If you'd rather never think about content changes again, the all-inclusive plan covers them, and we'll show you the figure so you can weigh it against paying per job.

We'll mention what we're seeing

While we're in there we'll mention anything else that looks worth fixing, without doing it unless you ask. Take the advice or leave it. Some people want exactly one thing changed, which is a perfectly good reason to ask.

Common questions

Can you work on the site I already have?
Yes, and frequently it's the whole job. We look first and tell you whether patching will actually hold, or whether you're better served by starting again. If the site is sound, we'll say so.
Do I have to learn how to edit the site?
No — and asking you to learn an editor is how sites end up looking abandoned. Send the change across and it's done. Every routine change is already inside our all-inclusive plan.
What will a small change cost?
You know before we start. Straightforward jobs carry no project overhead, and anything we can define clearly gets a fixed price.
Is a maintenance plan necessary?
Not if you need something once in a while — just ask, and we'll price that one piece of work. If you'd rather have updates, backups, security and every future change dealt with in one go, the all-inclusive plan covers all of it and comes out cheaper than paying per job.
How quickly can you turn it around?
Usually the same working day for a small change sent before midday, and a couple of days for anything bigger. And if it's several small things rather than one, you'll get the total before anybody opens a laptop.
