Websites for small businesses in the Dominican Republic
Most small business websites fail in the same three places. They are slow on a phone, nobody can find them, and the owner is frightened of changing anything. We build to fix all three — and then we make the changes ourselves, which is the only way the third one never comes back.

Five pages, done properly
A small business site is not a twenty-page site. It is usually home, services, about, gallery or proof, and contact — with pricing or a clear next step on the ones that matter. Fewer pages, properly written, with real photographs, will outperform a sprawling site every time, and it is also a fraction of the price. We will tell you if an extra page would genuinely help rather than padding the invoice.
WhatsApp, then phone, then a form
Here, WhatsApp is often the first channel people reach for, ahead of email and phone — and it frequently beats a contact form, which sits unread until Thursday. So the contact layer is layered the way local customers actually behave: a tap-to-message button that opens with your business name already filled in, a visible +1 809 mobile, and a form for anyone who prefers writing properly. All three land wherever you want them to.
Photography that looks like your business in July
Not a rented lifestyle image, and not a photograph taken at 1pm in August with the terrace rammed. A good shoot for a coastal business shows the work, the premises, the people and — crucially — the thing you do when the sky goes dark at four in the afternoon and the power goes with it. That last image is what tells a visitor you are still trading, and it is the one that fills the hurricane season.
Written in language that survives translation
If your customers read your site in English, German or Russian, it has to be written in that language, not translated word for word from the local version. We write each version for its reader, which means your clearest argument survives the trip, and nothing sounds obviously machine-made to someone who reads the language daily.
Changed by message, not by meeting
A price, a new photo, an opening hour, a member of staff who has left. You send it — a photograph, a voice note, three lines of text — and we make it. You never open a laptop, learn an editor, or wait for a web designer's availability. It is the reason sites built this way stay accurate, and accurate sites keep their Google profile and their customers.
Priced in US dollars, with the ITBIS shown
Small business sites in this market run from around $600 to $2,500, depending on pages, photography, writing and what the site has to connect to. Every quote is a fixed written figure in US dollars with ITBIS at 18% broken out, so it can go into your accounts without anyone having to guess. The local currency is the peso, but almost every business here prices, quotes and takes dollars — we will show prices the way you actually sell.
Common questions
- How many pages do I actually need?
- Usually five, sometimes four. If you need a page for something specific — a treatment, a boat, a rental, a seasonal menu — we will say so and explain what it is worth. If a page exists only to fill the site out, we will leave it out.
- Can you take the photographs as well?
- Yes, and we prefer to. A half-day shoot on site, with your own premises, team and work, changes a site more than any amount of design. It is quoted separately so you can use the images elsewhere too, and you keep them.
- I am not technical and I am very busy. How much do you need from me?
- One long conversation and whatever material you already have — photographs, prices, a menu, a list of services. After that it is messages. If you would rather we wrote the copy and chased the photographs, that is a normal part of the job, not an extra.
- Will it work in Spanish as well as English?
- Yes, and both are included as standard for a site aimed at this market. A third language can be added where your customers justify it — German or Russian in Sosúa and Cabarete, Russian or Italian in Punta Cana, Haitian Creole in Puerto Plata — and for a lot of businesses here they do, particularly in property, marine, clinics and driving.
- Can my assistant update things like opening hours?
- They can, and they won't need training. Simple changes — hours, a price, a news item, swapping a photograph — are handled by anyone in your business through a straightforward admin screen. The design and structure stay intact because we set it up that way.
