Websites for dental, medical and wellbeing clinics
Most clinics here do a great deal of their work with patients who are not in the country, researching at midnight, comparing four providers, and reading every review they can find. Your website is doing the convincing, and the questions it leaves unanswered are going straight to the practice down the road.

Your patients are researching you at 23:00 from another country
A person considering implants, a smile makeover or a course of physiotherapy is not booking on impulse. They are reading, they are nervous, they are worried about being overcharged, and they are doing it in their second language. The site has to hold all of that — and it has to make it obvious that you are a real clinic with real people, a real place, and a clear answer to the question they are too embarrassed to phone and ask.
Prices: a real number, honestly shown
The temptation is to show nothing and price it case by case. In practice a site with no prices loses visiting patients to whoever was braver. Show a genuine starting price for the treatment, make clear what it depends on, and include ITBIS. Add a few indicative ranges and the finance options if you offer them, and most people arrive at the consultation already knowing whether you are in their range.
This is health data, and the law is specific
Health information is sensitive personal data, and Ley 172-13 requires more care than an ordinary contact form — with the GDPR also applying to the personal data of EU visitors in many cross-border cases. That means the smallest amount of detail necessary, no medical history in a general enquiry box, an honest privacy policy that says what you keep and for how long, and a consent layer so analytics, advertising pixels and embedded booking tools load only after someone has agreed. We will also ask your hosting provider, in writing, where the data physically sits.
Before and after photographs need consent in writing
They are the most persuasive thing on a treatment page, and the easiest way to create a problem. We handle the release form, we remove anything identifying — jewellery, tattoos, a distinctive watch, a ring — and we never use filters or lighting tricks that misrepresent a result. Signed releases stored, dated and linked to the image. It is unglamorous and it is what protects you.
Reviews do the persuading, so ask properly
For treatment people pay for directly, reviews carry more weight than almost anything you write. The pattern that works is short: ask at the moment the patient says they are happy, make it a one-tap link, and reply to every review including the critical ones. A calm, specific reply to a bad review does more for trust than six perfect ones.
The clinic that fills July
Whitening, veneers, a consultation booked in May for treatment in August — that is a real off-season in this market, and it is where an online presence earns its keep. A site with a hurricane-season campaign, an off-peak price or a clear 'book now, treat later' message has something to sell when the beach bar next door is shut.
Common questions
- What should I put on the site about the team and my registration?
- Names, photographs, qualifications, the professional registration details your patients should be able to verify, and the body you are registered with. Patients here check, especially when they are travelling. If a detail should not be published, we will ask before publishing it.
- Will you write the treatment pages?
- Yes. We write them in Spanish and English — or German or Russian, if that is your market — describing what the treatment involves, how long it takes, what it feels like, what it costs from, and what happens afterwards. You check the clinical accuracy; we handle the structure, the tone and the reading level.
- Can you build booking with a deposit?
- Yes, including a deposit or full payment at booking, reminders before the appointment, and a calendar that your reception team already uses. The payment account is in your business's name, so the money goes to you.
- Can you deal with the data protection side?
- We handle the technical and practical parts: consent for personal data under Ley 172-13, the GDPR where EU visitors' data is involved, forms that collect the minimum necessary, secure transmission, a privacy policy written around what you actually do, and a record of what was consented to. We are not your data protection officers, we would want your lawyer to read the legal wording, and where health data is involved MEGAIP's requirements are the reference point rather than a checklist we made up.
- Should the site be in Spanish and English, or more?
- For a clinic serving visiting patients, Spanish and English are the baseline and German is often the difference between a quiet and a full diary. The languages you pay for should be the ones your patients actually read, and each version needs to be written for its reader rather than translated line by line.
- Can you handle before-and-after galleries safely?
- Yes — the written consent, the image preparation to remove identifying details, the labelling of timing and conditions, and the record kept with the file. We will not use filters or impossible lighting, and if a result is not representative we will say so rather than include it.
